In an attempt to reduce pollution and
consequently its effects, the government of Trinidad and Tobago has implemented
policies and laws against acts which will lead to pollution such as dumping.
This of course is a good idea however for there to be successful outcomes, the
policies and laws must be enforced to ensure better environmental and health
quality as well as to contribute to the overall development of the country’s
economy. This idea is supported by this image which depicts a "No dumping" sign yet there is garbage surrounding it.
Wow, I have a picture just like this, but taken in a different area, great minds think alike :)
ReplyDeleteIt was the irony of the picture that caught my eye too, "No dumping" and yet garbage surrounds it.
This was really interesting because I looked at this being related behaviours and you looked at it as being lack of enforcement of rules.
Hey Neish, I like that you noticed the contrast with Tonya -- interesting differences!
